These standards of nursing conduct provide a definite warning to a licensee, in addition to the provisions of the law as interpreted by the State Board of Nursing, of what may constitute unprofessional conduct by setting forth an ascertainable standard against which conduct can be measured. (5)An individual who has been granted a temporary practice permit for a currently-licensed registered nurse and who has complied with paragraphs (2)(4) may request an extension of the individuals temporary practice permit because of illness or extreme hardship by: (i)Submitting a temporary practice permit extension application provided by the Board.
