She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, John Landis Watson, Sr. who passed away in 1988; sons, John Landis Watson, Jr. and Jay Wilson Watson; and sister, Mary Jane Pappas. She was the wife of the late Donald Leon Baldwin. She is survived by : her children, Mary Jane VanDuyn (Phil), James Harrison Watson and Jeffrey George Watson; her daughters-in-law, Laurie Watson and Diane Watson; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Watson; and also Edie Gaither. Visitation for Rudy will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Our Saviour's United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971. She literally "nursed" her husband through law school. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jody's long term caregiver, Edie Gaither, for her compassionate care. Born in South River she had resided there before moving to Sayreville in 1950. from First United Church, Melville.
